Most people in mid 30s and older experienced problems about warts appearing on the face and anywhere on the body. Warts are highly frustrating because they are dirty to look, expensive to remove, and sometimes require multiple treatments. Most individuals having large warts tend to suffer low self-confidence and increased feeling of embarrassment during social interaction. The location, quantity, and appearance of warts largely depend on the kind of warts that you may have. The most common is flat warts. They are flat raised areas in the skin.

What are facial warts?

A wart is a harmless, noncancerous skin growth caused by HPV or human papillomavirus. HPV usually infects the top layer or outer surface of the skin. They usually enter the body from any broken skin. There are at least 100 known types of HPV. The HPV virus will cause the top layer of the skin to grow rapidly. The result would be what we commonly refer to as wart. Normally, warts go away on their own within months or years. They grow anywhere on the body and are common even among children and young adults. Warts desperately need to be part of your anti aging care for beautiful skin.

There are 6 main types of warts for your anti aging care

  • Common warts
  • Plantar warts
  • Flat warts
  • Filiform warts
  • Periungual warts
  • Genital warts

Common warts are found mostly on the hands but they can appear anywhere on the body too. Common warts demonstrate rough, gray brown, and dome shaped growths.

Plantar warts normally are found on the soles of your feet. They are seen as hard, thick patches of skin with dark specks. However, you may feel pain when you walk and feel like stepping on a pebble if you have plantar warts.

Flat warts usually appear on face, arms, or legs. Flat warts are usually located in the face and are commonly flesh colored, brownish, or dark red. The size of flat warts is normally small with flat tops. The color could also be pink, light brown, or light yellow. Note that warts are highly contagious and easily spread whenever contact is made on the skin or affected area. You need to find the right anti aging care treatment for warts.

Filiform warts occur around the mouth, nose, or beard area. They look like flesh colored with fingerlike projections.

Periungual warts are located under and around fingernails and toenails. They look like rough irregular bumps that usually influence the growth of your nails.

Genital warts are warts that you can find on the genitals, around the anus, within the rectum, vagina, or cervix. They form cauliflower like masses and sometimes too small to see. The color could be flesh to gray. Genital warts increase the females risk for cervical cancer.

Warts can last for years and recur. Since it is contagious, it would be wise not to use other person’s personal things like handkerchiefs, face towels, and bath towels. Treatment for warts as anti aging care must be consulted with a medical professional. It usually involves removal using Keratolysis, Cryosurgery, Surgical Curettage, laser Treatment, and Topical Creams. One medication that is fast becoming popular is Terrasil.
